[pct-l] Mt. Laguna Report

I hiked the loop from penny pines down thru Noble Canyon and Indian creek
and back along the PCT on Sunday - There are really thick carpets of
wildflowers along the route and in the meadows on the west side of the road
accross from Pioneer Mail - Almost completely distracting from the fact that
95% of the timber in that area is history - thick green brush and
wildflowers, some types I've never seen before up there add much life to the
groves of burnt skeletons that cover the area. There were a group of 4 thru
hikers at Pioneer Mail fielding the questions of a couple folks up for the
weekend, and we passed 5 or 6 more nobos ontrail.....and witnessed some of
the usual in and out activity at the laguna store.
