[pct-l] Re: Solar charger

Do you know of a solor charger that you can plug something that normally
plugs into house hold juice I haven't figured out a plan on one thing
yet. on my prosthetic knee it has a computer built into it. It is a
costly guy 50 grand just for the knee only but nay ways every 2 days at
least it need charged up. If i am on the trail longer then say 2 days
then I have a problem I can walk on it but have no knee motion it lock
straight out. SO it would be like walking with out a knee. I would need
to find a charger I can take a break one day and charge my leg up or
find a town over night and charge my leg up and sleep in the motel. But
on back country hiking like I do around here i am sol with out power any
light weight chargers I might use. That would be solar or something

>Hi Dave Here is the address for the Solar charger, this one has a Cigarette lighter adapter for anything that will hook to that plus it has 10 nimh AA Batteries. It says to use all 10 Batteries over and over, 500 times before replacing them. It also has a loop to hook to your Backpack while hiking. I figure that it will charge my phone while hiking and I will use the Batteries for my camera and my GPS. Address: http://www.cetsolar.com/deltacharger.htm Oh yes it weighs 2 LBS.
