This is good info, Mike. There are some good hints for finding trail in the
snow in the captions to these photos. 
Another tip: Trees along the side are often trimmed so branches don't stick
in the trail. When you see a tree where one side has clearly had its
branches trimmed off to the trunk, it's a good indication there is a trail
(but maybe not your trail <G>) there.
