[pct-l] tyvek windshirt

Has anyone used a tyvek shirt as a wind shirt?  A friend gave me a jumpsuit and I cut the pants off to make a little jacket out of it. So far it seems like it would make an ok wind shirt. Its light, wind proof and water resistant. At $1.80 or so a piece, its hard to say no when some of the other options can run more tha $60. Any thoughts?
