[pct-l] spring weather

Yesterday we had snow here in Colfax, CA, forty miles
west of Donner Pass on I80. Snow chain controls were
up at Gold Run, at approx. 3000 feet elevation.
We thru hikers of the past four years or so had it
pretty good. This year will be different for sure.
