[pct-l] PCT hikers
Why horrified? If they are being talked about, either negatively or
positively, on any list you are doing them a favor by letting them know
about it. It's a good way to stop whispering campaigns and it gives them the
same forum to address issued raised even if those issues have already been
addressed or are without merit.
I deal with a lot of outdoor equipment manufacturers and I always pass the
word when I see posts about their gear, good or bad on any list I'm on. I've
yet to have one not thank me for the heads up.
