Depending upon whether you use the card for long calls
or short calls, there is another consideration.
 
Using the phone card from a home or business does not
incur a connection charge.  However, using it from a
pay phone does.  My ATT card charges a mere 2 minutes
to connect.  My MCI card charges 18 minutes to
