[pct-l] Question about leaving a car at or near Walker Pass

Hi all,
 
I will be hiking sections D-F this May, and have a friend in Bishop who has offered to drive me to I-15, after I drop off my car at or near Walker Pass for the exit.
 
Where is the best place to leave it there?  I don't think the campground has a host, and I'm a bit worried about vandalism or whatever.
 
Any input would be appreciated.
