Well, I came across in my new Sun Precautions (sunprecautions.com) catalog a 
new hat that is quite unbelievable.  It is called the Ultimate Crusher (item 
number 4750A05) and it has an astonishing 5" brim all around.  It is made of 
their 30+ SPF anti-radiation material.

I might get one and treat it to be water repellent and replace my solar 
umbrella.  Wow, I wonder it that would really work.  When I first looked at a model 
in the catalog wearing it, I thought, "Boy, that lady has the smallest head I 
have ever seen."  I then read the description of the hat.  No wonder her head 
looked so small.

I might get their Men's Active Pants too in white for hiking.  I already have 
been hiking in their Super Active Shirt for years.
