[pct-l] cool atlas (& hitchhiking)

I just buy regular Rand McNally state road maps, mark the trail(s) with
orange highlighter, and then tear off all unneeded parts to reduce the weight. I
call the result my hitchhike map, partly in case I ever need to bail out and
hitch somewhere, I won't be wondering where the hell I am and which way to
hitch. The other partly is just because I just like maps, and looking at the
big picture occasionally.
Many weeks ago I pasted my 10 Rules for Hitchhiking into a post; it
didn't paste too well, and someone suggested converting it into a .txt file.
Instead, as we close in on ADZ..., I'll just offer to email it to anyone who
wants it; it's an MS Word 2000 .doc.
