I just came home from a Go-Lite presentation given by Demitri Coupounas at an outdoor store here in KC.  Yep, that's Kansas City.  It was interesting.  About 30 people attended.  He showed slides from his JMT-LT-CT hikes in 2004.  Didn't talk much about the alpine-style of hiking thing.  He mostly was pushing his gear.  
 
It was . . . . . okay.  I suppose I would have liked it better if he was a bit more humble.
