[pct-l] Moonrise

Hi I plan on doing this the last weekend of March or the second weekend of
April. Depends on snow and my time frame. I'm hoping to get as far as I can
on weekends and then some time this summer do a two week trip, I hope I will
get at least to KM by the end of September. I will be going with "Oilcan"
this weekend, I told my grandson that we would do this part because he
hasn't done it yet. He needs 74 to saddle junction and also Lake Morena to
Mt Laguna, don't know when He will be able to do that. Ground Pounder

I want to do this next weekend. I think Bruce (Geezer5) will go, and I'm
working on Paul (Capt. Bivy). I expect there will be snow, and I'm going
prepared with snowshoes, which I'll leave in the car if it looks better when
I get there. Total PCT miles is about 20, plus probably a 5 mile walk on the
dirt road to the pavement. I'm thinking two days because of the snow. If no
snow, this is an easy one-day hike, mostly "level."
