I have already made my motel room reservations at Mt. Laguna.  You need to do 
that too.  Call 619-445-2342.  I figure for an old backpacker like me it will 
take me 2 days from Lake Morena after the Kickoff.

I just made reservations (April 30) at the Warner Springs Resort 
(760-782-4200).  This is something else you need to do now.  The hiker special is $94 plus 
$8.46 tax (this is A LOT CHEAPER than their $185.00 rate with breakfast).  
This is for a room for up to 6 people and INCLUDES the hot springs pool, but not 
breakfast.  You pay for that separately.  I think the beds are twins and not 
queens.

By the way the massage charge is $85 for one hour.  I might get that too.  
Usually the charge is about $1.00 per minute at nice resorts, but look at our 
condition and situation.

Back to the room.  There are two of us right now (male and female hikers), so 
if anyone wants to join in to share costs, let me know.  I bet we could get 
lot of people on the floor.  ONLY ladies and gentlemen my apply.  No 
backpacking hoodlums.
