[BULK] - [pct-l] Warner Springs Parking?

I bet the three year old could do the 4 miles to the middle of the trail
from Barrel to Warner!
A real easy walk. And you can take all day to do it in!

Anyway, Parking can be had on either side of the road (79) by the Fire
Station.
There's a parking lot next to the ball fields and there's a parking lot
at the school, BUT DON'T PARK AT THE SCHOOL!!!

I had parked at the school one day to take my son and a friend of his on
a quick and easy overnighter. The next day, a Sunday, the school was
closed and the gate was locked! I was locked in!!!
Fortunately, the CDF fireman lent me his bolt cutters and I cut the lock
to get out...
He told me that the ball field lot is never locked, but there's still a
gate...

Subject: [BULK] - [pct-l] Warner Springs Parking?

hi everybody. some friends of mine are doing an overnighter from Barrel
Springs to Canada Verde creek above Warner Springs (in section A, of
course). if i want to join them, i may need to bring my 3-year-old and
so i'd rather just hike in the 1-2 miles from Warner Springs. can
anybody tell me where it would be OK to park my car overnight there? is
there a trailhead parking area?

thanks so much.
