[pct-l] Trail Libations

As with Iron Chef, I enjoy a good dark beer. Fat Tire,
one of my favorites, is about as light as I enjoy
getting. My favorite here in Boulder is the very dark
and heavy Java Porter at the Southern Sun brewpub.
(caffiene AND beer...what's not to like? )
But, find I just can't drink beer on the trail and
enjoy it as much. When I get into town or see a cache,
I invariably prefer a cold soda. Mind you, my soda
consumption when not hiking is almost nil. Too sweet
for me. But on the trail? A cold coke or Cactus Cooler
when in So. Cal. tastes yummy. A beer? Too heavy for
me, even the cheap, ligher stuff.
Odd but true!
