[pct-l] Sleeping bag liners

For the unititiated, why do folks choose silk for PJs and bag liners?  Lower 
weight than similar pieces in other material?  Second use as bug reistant 
fabric?  Good at keeping skin oils and dirt from sheets or a bag?  Easy 
laundry?   Slickness to aid turning under sheets or in a bag?  From some of 
the posts, I gather that it doesn't aid turning inside a sleeping bag very 
much.
