I have problems with silk being laundry I switch to Egyptian cotton and it
has last several seasons. It keeps my bag from smelling like a bear's den. Six
ounces is something to think about. It adds about 7 degrees insulation to
your bag though. Decisions, decesions. I just remove my liners because of the
weight but now you got me procrastinating.

Hi list,
Does anyone have any love for a sleeping bag liner on the trail? As
dirty as I plan to get, it seems to make sense. So far it seems like
the best lightweight option is silk. Has anyone used a silk liner on
the PCT?
Thanks a bunch,
