Paul: I have the original Aluminum stakes.
In regards to Randy's email, I should probably keep the
original stakes.
Randy: I believe is was $90 with shipping. I think it was
$25 for the small poles, $30 for the large poles, and $25
for the rainfly. $10 for shipping. Or about 1/2 of the cost
of buying the whole enchalada (I mean tent).
-Mountain Goat-
I should probably ask what the weight was for the small
pole and larger pole separately from you guys.
The Ultra Lightyear I have was shipped with aluminum poles
at 232.6 grams.
sorry I rounded down :(
Maybe they had problems with the Eastons or I bought mine
before they
switched over. That's more than an ounce difference. Are
you using the
original stakes?
I used mine in 2000 and loved it. Will have it or my Atko
with me this
year. Most people may be using tarps, but I love my home
away from home.
Wish they made the rain fly in a mellower color.
