[pct-l] Camp shoes

I made a pair out of elastic ribbon and an insolite pad.  The bands went
around my ankles and the sandals stayed on my feet.
One ounce for the pair.
I sent them home.  Camp shoes???????????????????   Less was better.

High Sierras.   Water sandals for river crossings and hiking between
multiple crossings. Saved 10 minutes in shoes on, shoes off at each
crossing.  
 I just bought 18 ozs. of Teva Water Shoes.  Same idea only no gravel and
grit between the feet and the sandal.
