[pct-l] Re: Single source JMT thruhike
You want Happy Isles->Sunrise/Merced Lake (pass through)
(Sunrise is the camp area on the way to Tuolumne Mdw)
Exit is "outside Yosemite"
In the box at the bottom of the web page form where it allows you to enter
additional info, that's where I just told them I was doing the JMT and exiting
at Whitney Portal. I added on a couple of extra days just in case I needed them.
When I picked up my permit, they had typed in an "itinerary" saying what days
I'd be in various jurisdictions (I gave them no information on that)-- my permit
was checked by a Ranger just south of Glen Pass and she found everything in
order so their rough estimate must have been OK.
