Oh please. Today is not "Preacher Wednesday".

No subject is so sacred it can't be joked about. It
is just a biological function afterall!

A woman gave a joke answer to the reply, and **MY**
replies made fun of **me** in terms of a) how
undesirable I looked and b) when a person did show
interest in me I was too clueless to pick up on it.

If you read some of the junk replies, you'll know I
worked in a medical environment as an orderly in an
OR (Out Patient Surgical Unit to be precise). I worked
as the only guy with all women who ranged from mid30s
to early 60s. Not only was I an unofficially adopted
son (Had to introduce any dates to these women! They
also threw me a wonderful going away party when I did
he AT.), but heard much worse than this quick round of
replies from their mouths. My ears are getting red
again just thinking about it. :)

BTW as a related side note: IF the birth control is
for regulating the menstrual cycle, there is a chance
it may not be needed. Many women (not all) will not
menstruate when doing extreme physical exertion esp.
if the body fat percentage drops. I think a thru-hike
falls under that heading. ;-)

Consult your OB/GYN. S/he will know your medical
history and provide medical advice better than any one
on this list for sure! The doc may be able to
prescribe something in particular to regulate the
menstrual cycle as well.

Feel free to file this under junk mail.
