[pct-l] umbrella holder

I have a GoLite umbrella, but haven't figured out how to hold it while 
hiking in the desert and at the same time use my two hiking poles. 
Because of a balance problem depend on using both poles for stability 
even on level ground. Is there a simple way to attach the umbrella 
handle to a backpack so the umbrella provides shade, but is easy to 
remove when coming to low foliage hanging over the trail?
