If you have an animal to carry some water, you should be in good shape.  
Cottonwood Creek usually has good water and there might be other run off along the 
way in April.  There is a concrete tub with SHOWER about 4 or 5 miles from 
the Oak Creek Canyon Road --- ? (I cannot remember the name of all the road 
intersections prior to Hwy. 58, I think this road crossing is about 5 miles north 
of Hwy. 58 on the trail).  Also, just prior (going north on the trail) to this 
road crossing is a picnic table where someone leaves water.

I am doing the Hwy. 138 to the Oak Creek Road crossing in March if the snow 
is melted off a lot.
