[pct-l] Struck by lightening!

When hitching off the PCT in the Quincy area we got picked by a logging truck ---- the two of us and our dog jammed in there.  As we were going he explained how he hated those DAMN environmnetalist --- both my friend and I are about as green as they get.  As we were flying down the one laned quincy highway way to fast for that heavy of a load.... he showed us a corner where his cousin flew off and died when his brakes failed--- He explained to us the protoacol --- if he yells jump ------ JUMP do not wait....  Still an angel but a scarey one.

I've read many stories on trail angels and their wonderful help for PCT hikers. Has anyone got any stories on trail Devils. Someone who did you bad, took your stuff, ate your stuff, sent you the wrong way, given a really scary ride?
