I'm one of the people who packs bear cans very dense. But if I put in more 
than 10 days (maybe I could manage 12-13) I have to compromise a lot and 
pick not-so-tasty food. I just can't imagine carrying 3 weeks worth of 
food in a single canister. Maybe you could consider carrying 2 (or one of 
the extra large aluminum ones?) Or alternatively resupply at the Muir 
Ranch or Vermillion Valley. Those are basically on the trail and for a fee 
will hold a package with your resupply.
