Matt
I haven't tried my bear vault in my Breeze yet. I found that over 20 lbs
is too much for my shoulders. My Breeze now has a 2" belt(strap).
I can carry more weight. I'm probably using my Breeze for that section. I
have a very small base weight and I'll restock often.
Last year, after talking to the Tuoumne rangers I mailed my Bear Vault
home. The ranger said just don't camp before hiking seven miles north of
Tuolumne.

Bearvault who can enlighten me as to the best way to attatch the bear
canister? The best idea I have so far involves sewing on two straps to
match the strap guides on the canister but I'm skeptical as to the
functionality of such a system. I really only need something to get me
from Walker Pass to Sonora Pass.
