[pct-l] lightweight packs and bear canisters

Has anyone used a combination of a Golite Breeze (or similar pack) and a Bearvault who can enlighten me as to the best way to attatch the bear canister?  The best idea I have so far involves sewing on two straps to match the strap guides on the canister but I'm skeptical as to the functionality of such a system.  I really only need something to get me from Walker Pass to Sonora Pass.
