Campo Creek, oddly enough, did have water this year, 
although it was mostly stagnant and none too inviting. One 
would think Hauser, in its deep gorge, to be the more 
reliable source, but even in 1999, Campo was actually the 
better flow of the two.

Ah, the good old days of '99. Seems like a millenia ago now.
