[pct-l] Homemade "buff"

Well, it's a lot warmer for one thing. My friends tell me they can tell the
temperature by my buff. It starts as a neck scarf and then starts creeping
up the back of my head until it eventually becomes a balaclava, if cold
enough.

I think it's the loop that makes it better than a bandana as you can get
equal amounts of fabric wrapped around whatever you're trying to wrap. Also
being strtchy it tends to stay right where you put it. The regular buffs are
a very light weight fabric, winter ones are heavier. I also have a selection
of homemade fancy ones made for hairbands.

And Saskia, thanks for clearing up a mystery for me. I have wanted to make
my own out of tee shirts but was thinking I'd have to get child sized ones.
Never dawned on me to use the sleeve.
