[pct-l] 2005-ers: No food boxes to the Middletons

To those considering Cabazon P.O.  Check the hours of its  operation.  When I 
went through, it was open on Saturday from 10-12  only.
 
When you get to I-10, you are at the Verbenia St. Overpass.  You have  two 
choices, get onto the on ramp or go down Railroad Avenue, which goes down  the 
south side of the Interstate and right into Cabazon.  My experience was  that 
very few cars travel Railroad Avenue... so I walked the whole way.   Another 
hiker took the on ramp and got a ride in minutes.  YMMV
 
If you havn't just spent two days at the Good Times Pub and Grill in  
Idyllwild, you might consider going into Palm Springs instead.  I saw a  boat-load of 
traffic going that way.
