I'm still trying to make an old Army backpack fit onto a bamboo external
frame and somehow tie on the canvas two man pup tent with wooden poles, a small
Coleman lantern, through in an iron skillet and wear the old full leather high
top, waffle stomper boots. Base weight estimate at this time is about 65
lbs.!!!!

Good for you, Greg! I'm bringing a wooden framed Trapper Nelson and a
Korean War down bag that weights 8#.... carry it from the border to Morena on
