[pct-l] Southbound and flip flop Strategies??

Southbound?  Does that mean I'll make it to Canada this year? (Still an obsession)

Southbound Strategies?  Or North and south and north and north again?

Any possible scenerios from those with a little experience?

I like going north to follow the guidebook when it works as well as southbound.
