Event?  There are SoCal backpackers that want to get together, have lunch, meet and put names with faces that we have been e-mailing to get to know each other a little. This coming hiking season you might be asking for a ride or going on a hike with someone of this group. There will be posts in the future of different areas being hiked and if possible you might want to go along. Oscar's is a restaurant and is located in Temecula.  Take the I-15 (whether you are going south of north) to Rancho California Road, Go East to the Signal which is Ynez Road. Across Ynez on the right side above the pond is Pat & Oscar's restaurant. Saturday the 15th at 11:00 AM  Most of these hikers are in the process of hiking the "Pacific Crest Trail"  But hiking is hiking so all hikers are welcome.
