If you look at the Death Valley website (www.nps.gov/deva) there should be
some information about what kind of precipation there has been in the park.
I don't imagine they'll have any info on wildflowers 'til later, but I'd
start checking the site in February. I have been there 4 times, including
the last 3 spring breaks in late March, and have found the wildflower
situation to be hit or miss.

Does anyone have any good estimates what this rain/snow in California
means for the timing of the wildflower season in Death Valley?
mid-February? late March? early April?
