When we staggered in to Echo Lake Store this summer, absolutely beat,
they went out of their way to make us welcome. Called the Berkeley
Youth Camp for us, told us about a nearby motel that would come and
get us (we opted for BYC), got our hiker box out of the P.O. after
hours and served a wonderful strawberry milkshake.
