Dogs also can't hike trails in California state parks (although they can
hike the roads in these parks), including
Anza-Borrego (Lucky 5 to part way up San Felipe Hills)
San Jacinto (a short section near Wellman Junction)
Burney Falls
Castle Crags
Not sure about Silverwood Lake

There are legal issues. Dogs can't hike on dirt trails in National
Parks, so your dog can't hike with you thru Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings
Canyon, a major part of the PCT in the Sierras. Ditto for Lassen and
Crater Lake. So legally speaking, a dog can't thru hike.
