[pct-l] Tents

I got into using a tarptent thinking it would solve condensation problems
along with being super super light. hi-tech silnylon tarps such as the
tarptent still seem to support alot of condensation, from what I experienced
this year in late June weather in the Sierras. I also experienced misting
in the tarptent in heavy rain this season. Not completely threatening
wet-wise, but still makes a tosser & turner nervous about soaking up too
much water when carrying a 30 deg. down bag.

stayed relatively dry nonetheless,
s.c.
