[pct-l] Returning Home

Any advice out there on how to get home at the end of the hike? I'd
like to have a plane ticket, but I'd also like to buy it before it is
really really expensive (i.e. well before I finish the hike). On top
of that, I don't want to have a ticket go unused if I have to bail out
on the hike. Any suggestions for getting home quickly and
inexpensively?
