[pct-l] making spandura gaiters

I just finished monitoring the OR Flex-Tex gaiters test at
backpackgeartest. They were made of spandura, and are on the Outdoor
Research website: www.orgear.com as well as the BGT website. I didn't
test them, so I can't vouch for them, but the testers seemed pretty
happy with them.

Spandura Gaitors.  Never heard of Spandura and I've never found
gaitors I like.  Would you mind telling me a little about them?  Do
they stretch any?
Size? Weight? How they strap on? Maybe a web page?
I'd appreciate any help
