I did the trail in 4.5 days going SoBo.
 
Water was not a problem.
 
Going SoBo going from High Mount to Low Desert I went thru a narrows that  
was about 5 miles long. I was the first one to go thru that winter and the trail 
 was pretty well washed out. Don't let that bother you just plow ahead. You 
will  see the remains of an old Hwy. just like the Bridge to Nowhere. Have a 
great  Hike. I expect to do it in January.
