[pct-l] Mountaineering Classes

Hi,

I live in Bay Area.  I want to take a basic mountaineering class (ice
axe, crampon,belay etc.).  Object is initially to extend my Sierra
Backpacking season.  

I've gathered up a bunch of brochures and signed up for the
newsletters online.  I wondered if anyone had a particular good
experience (or bad) with one group vs another.  I can go North to
Shasta or Lassen or South.
