Aloha Ilja!
I also like Bear Creek products but I only eat them at home. I must be missing something, and/or my cooking abilities are even more limited than I thought, but don't these soups, stews and chilis take quite a bit of time to cook. Off the top of my head I'm thinking something like 20 minutes on the stove. I'm not seeing that with my little alcohol stove. Not even if I took the Pocket Rocket. Maybe the Peak 1 on simmer. So do tell, I must be thinking something else. I'll have to check the potato soup shortly. Hummmmm....
Aloha

<< !another very tasty instant food are the soups from bear creek. They
usually go for outragous USD 5-6 for 10-12 ounces at Ralphs or Vons. But
the local Smart & Final has big (about 2 pounds) cans (solid metall,
vacuum packed) for about 8 bucks. I like the potato and especially the
chili soup. Not so broccoli and cheese.>>
