[pct-l] Waypoint 1 tent? Opinions?

Bought the Waypoint 2 last year. Set it up at home.
Wow..........................
Stable, light, and I'm pretty sure it had a bathtub floor with a atrip of
mesh above it around most of the tent.
It had a good overhang over that mesh. Very, very stable. What I wanted
and 10 times more. Color was good too. Wouldn't show the California dirt.
Great for me and my girlfriend. I planned to use it solo for the High
Sierras.
Henry Apshires were the most popular tent on the PCT this
year................Light, great, I love it........Just a few ounces from
being my first choice.
At the KickOff I found a TWO-POUND TWO-MAN TOTAL weight, easy setup tent.
The Waypoint went back. Only had rain a few times from Campo to Crater
Lake..............1800 miles. I'm a tarp person, but the three weeks I
needed a tent, bugs, bugs, mosquitos, bugs, TWO POUND tent was a dream to
carry. (also has a bathtub floor and lots of ventilation).
The same designer has a new 24 ouncer I'm going to get to do the norther
800 miles of the PCT next year.
All these tents are good in my book.
