[pct-l] Scott Williamson Update - 10/19

Hello Donna and Jeff,
Give my warm congratulations to Scott when he arrives at your house. I still
thank him for all the water he stashed the year he could not finish and my
friend Pat and I used it on our section hikes Aqua Dulcie to Walker Pass.

I am still thinking about what I am going to do come April 2005. I would
sure like to have a shot at a thru hike, nothing stands in my way except for
my kids who keep insisting I have a partner and I keep telling them I will
find one at ADZ.  I am not sure if my hiking partner the Monk will be able
to go, his health is not so good, but we will see.

Scott called this afternoon and spoke to Jeff.  He expects to be here in
Agua Dulce tomorrow afternoon.  With the forests reopening (with the
exception of the Verbenia fire area, I believe), there is nothing to stand
in his way to finish the FIRST 
EVER SINGLE HIKING SEASON YO-YO OF THE PCT!!!   Right this moment he is
approximately
500 miles from finishing.
