[pct-l] Done with thru hike

Howdy folks,

I'm back in Boulder now after finishing this summer's thru hike. I finished
on the 18th of September in a few inches of snow. We had a pretty tough
year in Washington this year. Tons of rain. Anyway just wanted to let you
all know I finished and am back on the list. Feel free to ask me questions
if you're planning to thru hike next summer while its still fresh in my
mind.

Also, I think its too late for this year because everyone should be done by
now but the detour around Glacier Peak is great. The forest service got in
there and brushed the whole trail so overgrown trail is no longer a problem.
The ford of the Napeequa was mid-thigh deep after a night of hard rain.
The climb up Little Giant Pass was super steep but thru hikers shouldn't be
complaining about it after 2500 miles of walking. It was one of the most
scenic parts of the trail. We heard horror stories about that section and
almost did the road walk. We would have missed out if we did.

Later,
Steve (Scrote) - I'm probably going to leave that name behind me :)
