When I reserved my permit, I talked to a ranger at Mill Creek Station.
He said he'll reserve and send me my permit, but warned that the forest
"could" close at any time. All depends on the weather.
A low trough is coming down from the NW which could bring a bit of
moisture into the SWG. This could delay a closure.
It's open as of this moment in time...
