[pct-l] Road walk version of the detour

I haven't been up there- are people discussing a road walk detour because a)
the trail detour sucks, b) the road walk is shorter, or c) both? All things
being considered equal, a trail usually seems like the more pleasant
alternative...

Subject: [pct-l] Road walk version of the detour

I've heard mention of a road walk version of the
detour around Glacier Peak. I did the detour on the
30th and 31st of July, and Scott Williamson did it
nobo a day behind me, and apparently he did the road
route on his way south. Does anybody know the road
route that people are taking? I messed around on
mapquest a little, and of course couldn't get anything
to work that way...

thanks,
