Hi Irwin  My base weight was 35lbs not including H2O I had a 3liter platy, 2
32oz bottles and two 20oz bottles and I refilled four times, once at
whitewater and three times at mission creek. It hit 102 degrees on Friday
afternoon and 100 on Saturday    HYOH    God Bless    GPB

You must be one tough gent to hike I-10 to Mission Creek this time of year.
Last Saturday I did Pioneer Mail to
Burnt Rancheria CG.  The temp. at 5,000 to 6,000 ft
was about 90.  Your temp. must have been well above 100.

Do you have any idea how much water you drank and how
much your pack weighed?  I used over a gallon of water and
my pack weighed about 35 lbs.  This included water, a little
food and my basic life support goodies.
