Oh I don't know, Grandma Gatewood was notorious for knocking on doors to get 
out of the rain.  Her "lightweight" philosophy didn't really allow for 
extremities in weather.
I think Earl Shaffer called her a pantywaist.  

Still, you have to admire her for tenacity and travels.
