[pct-l] Hiking Section H Bridge of Gods to White Pass

Hoov
You should have no snow along this route except over Old Snowy and the Packwood glacier. Haven't been there this year as I am exploring other areas, but my sister lives down there and the huckleberries are ripe fairly high already.
Do be prepared for skeeters, especially in the Indian Heaven area. They carried one of my dogs about 100 feet before we were able to rescue her. LOL
Have a great trip.

I have checked both the PCTA and the Washington Trails for fresh reports on the PCT around Mt. Adams and through the Goat Rocks Wilderness areas, but have seen nothing. Does anyone know how much snow I might encounter along this route? Will two trekking poles be enough or will I need to take an ice ax? I plan to start this Saturday, Aug 7th from Bridge of the Gods after I land at PDX.

  Thanks, Hoov
